Learn more about New Orleans and Take a Tour with us...
On Friday, Saturday & Sunday, we will have three optional tours for you to choose from. Each tour will start at 11 am and will be from 2 - 3 hours long:
'The Big Sleazy Tour' $25 per person
Our infamous and original Naughty NOLA tour. An offshoot of our Adult History tour with more naughty history! Learn about our legal Red Light district and the birthplace of Jazz, Cross-dressers, Madams and more! We will take a walk around the French Quarter exploring locations of ill repute, bawdy tales and sordid stories.May Baily's, Norma Wallace our 'Last Madame', tales of Storyville, our legal Red Light district are just a few stories.
Bourbon Street burlesque, crossdressers and hot dogs, Led Zeppelin and the 'Penis Balcony' are all on route.
The Magical Mystery History Tour $25 per person
Pulitzer Prize winning writer and local host Chris Rose takes us on a wild ride through you-can’t-make-this-stuff-up local lore, dropping to his knees (twice) to amplify his passion for “the power of music, the driving force of our lives.”
Some revelations are mildly amusing footnotes (our beloved state song, “You Are My Sunshine,” was written by a guy from Georgia). Others are bizarre shaggy-dog epics (Eric Burden’s search for the real “House of the Rising Sun” ends in a convent). All are wildly entertaining, delivered with the showmanship of Ernie K-Doe, “crown prince of weirdness in this city” and Rose’s musical lodestar.
“Smoking, drinking, vulgarity and heckling” are not just permitted but encouraged. This is a music lover's dream tour.
Bob & Tess' Excellent Marigny & Bywater Adventure
Join the Naughty hosts on a tour outside of the French Quarter to the artsy and musical neighborhoods nearby. You will learn about local architecture, music venues, art and things you'd probably never seen on your typical trips to New Orleans. You may even stop by their house for a pit stop.
This tour is best done on a bycycle, so you will need to rent or bring your own bike (BYOB). If you aren't a decent bicycle rider, you may want to get a map that has some of our stops listed and you can simply bar hop with us in an Uber, Taxi or Lyft. You will miss some of the cool spots in between, but you'll still find some great hidden gems in the Marigny and Bywater neighborhoods.
Free Meet & Greets
Sign up for the Naughty New Year's Eve Ball and you can join us from 3-6 pm for two private Meet & Greets, both with HUGE Bourbon St Balconies for people watching and having fun. You will get a chance to meet local couples and those coming in for the New Year's Weekend. We will have great music and venues for these Naughty Meet & Greets.
With so much going on in New Orleans for New Year's, you won't find a better value or a better place to ring in the new year.
We will be at the popular Astor Crowne Plaza Hotel on the corner of Canal & Bourbon St. This is the absolute BEST location in New Orleans because it is only two blocks from Colette and located right on Bourbon St. The rooms were recently renovated and is very upscale and classy. You will be in the heart of all of the New Year activities taking place over this 4 day holiday weekend.
Rooms are $279 per night and there is a 3 night minimum. You can book a room for Fri, Sat & Sun nights or come in on Saturday and leave on Tuesday. Most hotels in the Quarter and downtown New Orleans area are averaging $450 a night and many of the hotels are sold out, so if you want a room, book now and we will send you a link to our room block.
There is always a LOT going on in New Orleans during New Years. The day after our Naughty New Year's Ball, you can catch the free Sugar Bowl parade. There will be free festivities at the river all day leading up to the ball. There will be Colette Specials (see below) for those coming in for the weekend and plenty of great food, music and cocktails for you to enjoy.
Come into town on Friday and enjoy a two night special at Colette for just $100 for both nights. That includes entrance to the club on Friday, Dec 29th & 30th AND membership for the weekend. Three great parties in one great city.
