Why We Are Excited About This Sailing
We offer a variety of lifestyle vacations year-round, but this particular sailing stands out for a simple reason: it combines one of our favorite celebrations with one of the most social vacation environments available.
Mardi Gras has always been about letting go of the ordinary and embracing the extraordinary. Costumes replace business attire. Strangers become friends. The unexpected becomes part of the adventure.
A lifestyle cruise creates that same sense of freedom, but instead of lasting a weekend, it becomes your entire vacation.
Days are spent exploring beautiful destinations, relaxing by the pool, enjoying exceptional dining, and meeting couples from around the world. As the sun sets, the atmosphere transforms. Theme nights, entertainment, parties, and social gatherings create a new experience every evening.
No two days ever feel quite the same.
Ports of Call
This is a 6-night cruise from New Orleans to two great ports in Mexico. This is a great way to escape the cold up north and visit some tropical beaches, see osme Mayan ruins, go diving or just go to one of the famous Bliss Beach Parties.
Or just stay on the ship and take advantage of the great weather, amazing deals on board and make new friends.
What Makes Bliss Different
The biggest misconception about lifestyle cruises is that they're focused on one thing. In reality, they're about possibilities.
Some couples spend most of their time exploring ports and enjoying the ship. Others immerse themselves in social activities from morning until late at night. Some enjoy every party and every themed night. Others prefer quiet dinners, poolside conversations, and making new friends.
The beauty of these charters is that there is no single "right way" to experience them. You decide how social you want to be. You decide which activities interest you. You decide what kind of vacation this becomes.
The cruise simply creates an environment where those choices are easier, more comfortable, and more enjoyable.
Extend The Adventure
For guests who aren't quite ready for the experience to end, Bliss Cruises is also organizing a five-night resort takeover immediately following the cruise called the Mardi Gras Extravaganza.
A Celebration Worth Starting Early
For generations, Mardi Gras has been about stepping away from everyday life and embracing something extraordinary. It's a time for costumes, music, laughter, connection, and experiences that become stories you'll tell for years.
This sailing captures that same spirit, but replaces crowded streets with ocean views, tropical destinations, and a ship full of adventurous couples looking to celebrate together.
By the time the cruise returns to port, Mardi Gras will still be days away, but you'll already have experienced a week filled with themed events, unforgettable nights, new friendships, and memories that last long after the beads are packed away.
Whether you're joining the cruise on its own or extending your vacation with the optional post-cruise hotel takeover experience, February 2028 offers the opportunity to begin the Mardi Gras season in a way few people ever will.
For some travelers, the cruise is the main event. For others, the cruise becomes the perfect introduction to a resort experience that follows.
Stay after the cruise for Bar takeovers, Pool Parties, Theme nights and everything Mardi Gras rolled up into a five-night extravaganza.
Either way, the combination creates the opportunity for an extended vacation that blends ocean travel, tropical destinations, and resort relaxation into a single unforgettable journey.
Can’t go on the cruise? No problem, you can still join the Mardi Gras extravaganza put on by Bliss Cruise and LS Events. The main hotel is already sold out, but several overflow hotels are still available.
Rather than rushing to the airport after disembarking, guests can continue their vacation at a lifestyle hotel takeover, where many of the friendships and connections made onboard can continue in a more intimate setting.

Perfect Size for a Lifestyle Cruise
One of Mariner's greatest strengths is its balance of size and intimacy. Large enough to offer countless venues, activities, and dining options, yet small enough that guests quickly become familiar faces throughout the voyage, creating the social atmosphere that many couples appreciate on themed and charter cruises. With numerous bars, lounges, entertainment venues, and outdoor gathering spaces, there's always somewhere new to explore or new people to meet.
For your Naughty Events audience, I'd emphasize that Mariner is "large enough to offer endless possibilities, yet intimate enough to create meaningful connections throughout the voyage." That message will resonate far more than the technical specifications.
