This amazing Douro River Cruise will start and finish in Porto, Portugal. You will wind through the Douro wine country, stopping along the way in places like Amarante, one of the most charming towns in Northern Portugal, distinguished by its impressive bridge and European architecture. There will be Unesco sites like Guimareas and up tpo Braga to see some of Portugal’s most influential historical sites.
You will cruise the Alto Corgo, by far the most scenic stretch of the river and visit the old village of Castello Rodrigo and then go onto Salamanca, Spain to see some amazing Romanesque, Gothic, Moorish, Renaissance and Baroque monuments.
