5 THINGS I LEARNED FROM A VIRTUAL SEX PARTY

I never would have thought that I would be hosting virtual lifestyle parties in the middle of a pandemic—but here we are, and I couldn't more grateful.  At a time where everything feels so restricted and we haven't had a "normal" night out in months, it felt so good to dress up, laugh with other people (while staying socially distanced), play fun games, dance and see some freaky action. 

For four days, I hosted Virtual Naughty N'awlins from the comfort of my own living room. I strung up twinkle lights to create a pretty backdrop, got dressed up, poured myself a drink and logged on. And it was an incredible experience.

I loved seeing how much fun everyone was having, the exhibitionists putting on a show, our educators giving their advice, the entertainers and DJs making everyone sing and dance, getting flirty with people I just met, this crazy virtual event actually felt—normal. 

We had a sexy scavenger hunt that had everyone laughing in hysterics,  classes and workshops that fascinated me, music that made me literally get up and dance and gorgeous, friendly people with the most amazing energy.  I couldn't believe how much fun our first Virtual Naughty N'awlins was! 

I'm very new to the lifestyle and what a time to be a beginner—the same time when we're all supposed to physically stay away from each other. So this was a learning experience. I can't wait to be "that" person one day who gets to say, "I was going to virtual sex parties before it was cool." 

Here's 5 things I took away from my first virtual sex party: 

DRESSING UP IS THERAPEUTIC 
This wouldn't have been a true Naughty Event without theme nights. We featured the themes matching our 2020 Naughty N’awlins themes; PJs, Animal Print, Superheroes & Villains and Mardi Gras. Creating a look for each theme out of the costume pieces I had at home, was exactly what I needed. I felt like I embodied a different character every night. My favorite character being, "The Flogger" aka my superhero personality. I think I might have to keep The Flogger around for later Naughty Superheroes & Villains parties. FLOGGING DOESN'T HAVE TO HURT 
Speaking of flogging, Master Don from Taboo Leather really taught me a lesson. He covered the basics and then some: how to use the tails to perform a kinky massage, wrapping techniques that sting in all the right ways, the importance of materials (you want nice, buttery leather) and the proper way to whip it (it's all in the elbow). Master Don says that flogging doesn't have to—and really shouldn't—hurt. I can't wait to impart my new flogging wisdom on my next partner. 

"PERVERT-ABLES"—YOU HAVE THEM
Quick! Find something in your immediate surroundings that you could possibly (and safely) use during sex—that's a pervert-able. Marla Renee Stewart from Velvet Lips taught us this term in her online "Seduction & Foreplay" class. We had tons of people signed on and occupying our Virtual Playroom to get their fill of juicy, hot tips on how to not only seduce your partner but yourself! She suggested the spontaneity of grabbing anything you can find around.

I LIKE TO TICKLE MYSELF
In her class "TouchME Orgasmic," Dragonfly from Pure Orgasmic Love had her virtual students run and grab something soft that they could touch themselves with on a place on their body where they aren't normally touched. I chose a silky scarf with long tassels I had hanging in my closet and began dragging the silky tassels along my midriff and through my inner thighs. MAGIC! I got pretty turned on and remembered how flirty and fun it feels to be tickled. Thanks Dragonfly for reminding me of how sexy it is to be fun 

VOYEURS EVERYWHERE
And I'm one of them. A lot of people who logged on to Virtual Naughty N'awlins chose not to turn their cameras on, but stayed in the chat, watched my screen as well as others and even interacted in the text chat area. At first, it made me nervous to think it could have been an issue with the platform, but really it was just people wanting to watch, wanting to see something new and sexy. A few couples turned their cameras on, cut right to the chase and put on a show for anyone wanting to watch. I watched. I watched a lot and my goodness—there are some sexy, talented people out there.  Having these couples come on and voluntarily share their sexual experience with us was so sexy.
