Size Matters: Do you remember when Naughty was not as big?

Do you remember when Naughty was not as big?

Most attendees love Naughty because it is the world’s largest lifestyle party. A place where you can see more people than anywhere else, meet more people, and get lost in the huge parties.

But some liked it better when we had just a few hundred couples and had everything in a smaller hotel, a more intimate experience. Well, now you can have both.

Naughty is made up of two hotel takeovers in New Orleans. This year, the event is June 26-30, 2024. We will have every room at the Astor Crowne Plaza Hotel AND the NOPSI. Hotel. Each one has its vibe and its own experience.

The Astor is where the BIG parties take place. There will be a Naughty Lounge with piano music, comedy, live bands, an EDM (electronic dance music) room, and our biggest ballroom with live bands and DJs. Every night will be filled with over 2,000 people dressed in theme outfits and dancing the night away.

The NOPSI is an upscale hotel (a nice way of saying that the hotel is nicer than the Astor) with a very cool bar (that specializes in Gin but has everything) and an amazing restaurant. It will have a topless pool, seminars, workshops, two dungeons, a playroom, and a ballroom where we will host our nightly theme parties, just like at the Astor, but smaller and more intimate.

Last year, some attendees stayed at the NOPSI Hotel and never left the hotel (except to go to Colette (just a half block away) or to some of the Bourbon St parties. They told us it reminded them of being at Naughty N’awlins over ten years ago.

They found it easier to talk to people and get to know them. It wasn’t as crowded, getting a drink easier, they loved the rooftop pool, and the food was better. Jen Porter will play at least one night at the NOPSI this year. Hotel and we are adding some meet & greets.

The ballroom is stunning, and we will have a local artist video-mapping the entire room, transforming it into a super sexy nightclub with an authentic New Orleans flavor.

If you are staying at the Astor, you can check out the experience at the NOPSI Hotel anytime. Likewise, if you are staying at the NOPSI Hotel, you can check out the Astor (and Bourbon St parties anytime you want).

For those looking for a less crowded event but with all the same options as the other hotel, you will like the NOPSI Hotel better. While the Astor has a 4-night minimum, the NOPSI Hotel only has a 3-night minimum, but you can still stay for four or more nights if you want.

I (Bob) stayed at the NOPSI Hotel last year and am returning this year. I loved being at the smaller hotel. First of all, I had a kick-ass bathtub that I used every day, but I also really liked the bar at the NOPSI Hotel. It is a beautiful place to hang out and meet people. The rooms and suites are nicer than the Astor, and I felt very comfortable in this hotel.

Some people no longer come to Naughty N’awlins because it simply got too big for them; if that is the case, then come back and try our little convention within a convention. You can have your more intimate experience AND still have access to all the seminars and other events no matter what hotel it is scheduled.

If you can’t come for the entire time, we will have a limited number of day passes (good for all day and all night) that will be limited to the NOPSI Hotel. This is an excellent option for locals and those traveling through New Orleans who cannot stay for the entire event.

We expect a friendly group of locals this year, which is great for visitors because they can suggest places to go and restaurants to eat at, and there will be more people to meet.

Another big plus this year is that shuttles will go back and forth to both hotels all night. You don’t have to walk (it is only three blocks). This is especially helpful for ladies wearing high heels.

So, this year, it does not matter if you like it BIG or small; you can have it all at Naughty N’awlins because there are two completely different experiences, and you get the best of both worlds, depending on what you are into.
