About Naughty Beach

Go back in time to our Secret Paradise

Naughty Beach is a weeklong event and will be our third year down in this little-known paradise located on Mexico’s only Clothing Optional Beach. This isn't your typical resort city in a busy hotel zone, this is a remote area that hasn't been spoiled by massive amounts of tourists. Imagine going back in time and visiting Negril, Jamaica 40 years ago, Orient Bay before it was "discovered" or Playa Del Carmen in Mexico before all of the souvenir shops, Diamonds International and chain restaurants opened.

We have found a secret paradise where time goes by slowly, and life on the beach is like it should be... Join us and come experience this amazing place for yourself (before it is “discovered").

The hotel is clothing optional and so is the beach. You can swim, dance, dine and party as naked as you want to be, after all, the hotel’s name is Hotel Nude.

Travel Safer

People always ask us “Is Mexico safe?’ and our answer is Hell yes! There are certainly dangerous places in Mexico, especially in border towns and cities where there are cartels and gangs, just like there are dangerous places in Chicago, Memphis, New Orleans, and many other US cities.

The Oaxacan coast is not like any of these border towns or cities. Zipolite is a really peaceful town with magical energy you have to feel to understand. We want to show you this magic and you will feel as safe and secure as you would in any small beach town in the US.

pricing

We are going to price this event like our other Naughty events. We are going to charge an "event fee" so we can pay for the DJs, staff, entertainment, live bands, venue rentals, transportation, and some included food.

We will be hiring entertainment (DJs, acrobats, cirque performers, fire dancers, bands, live music, etc...) we will be renting shuttles to take people from the hotels to our nightly shows (we will alternate where the shows and dinners take place each night, so everyone gets to see more of the Oaxacan coast). We will have to hire drivers and other locals to ensure everyone has a stress-free week.

We will set up a couple of bonfires with sculptures that will burn (ala: Burning Man) and we will be having some ceremonies that feature local culture and customs.

The total cost will be far less than any resort we have ever booked before. About half of the cost of all-inclusive clothing-optional resorts. The rooms will be charged separately and you will pay the hotel directly. See Hotel Information & Prices below.

HOTEL NUDE

We have booked an amazing, newly remodeled hotel, for this year's event. Over the past couple of years, half of our attendees stayed at either Hotel Nude or Hotel Naked, because the location was one of the best on the beach. However, Hotel Nude did not have A/C and the rooms were a little dated, so many of our guests booked alternative accommodations. We are happy to announce that Hotel Nude now has A/C in every room, TV’s, a safe and each room has been completely renovated and upgraded.

They have added several suites and oceanfront rooms with amazing views from their large balconies. Two of their rooms have private plunge pools and most balconies have beds or hammocks and a table and a couple of chairs. The hotel even built a new swimming pool, right on the beach which is our favorite spot to hang out and enjoy the view of the clothing-optional beach, surfers and sunsets.

Airlines with Non-Stop Flights to Huatulco, Mexico (HUX)

Air Canada: Toronto (YYG) & Vancouver (YVR) Edmonton (YEG)

AeroMexico: Tijuana (TIJ)

American Airlines: Dallas (DFW)

Volaris: Chicago (ORG)

Westjet: Vancouver (YVR) Toronto (YYZ)

Location

Our "Secret Paradise is located on the Pacific side of Mexico, near Huatulco. There are a limited number of flights (when compared to Mexico City or Cancun), but there are plenty of great options from Canada and the best option from the US is on American Airlines out of Dallas (DFW), which has a nonstop flight on Tuesdays and Saturdays. Volaris sometimes has nonstop flights from Chicago to Huatulco from the US.

If you don’t take the direct Dallas flight (at 10:35 am) or the Chicago Flight ( 6:43 am) you will have to go through Mexico City. The Chicago flight is only $200 per person, round trip (as of this writing).

Getting Here

We recommend flying into Huatulco (Airport code: HUX), do not fly into Oaxaca City. The hotels are located just 26 miles from the airport and cost approximately $30 each way (per couple).

Most major hubs in the US and Canada can get to Huatulco (HUX) with only one stop, usually in Mexico City (MEX). The only airline that has non-stop flights from the US is the Dallas flight, which cuts down the travel time considerably.

Sometimes there are long layovers in Mexico City, we recommend embracing these layovers by staying over for one to two nights and using that time to explore Mexico City, one of the great cities of North America.

Let us know if you need help getting a flight at info@Naughty-Events.com.

Immigration & Customs

While the American Airlines flight usually costs a little more than one that stops in Mexico City, remember that you will have to go through Immigration & Customs at your first airport in Mexico. This flight will save you hours of time and having to go through long lines and then exiting the airport, having to check back into your flight, and then go back through security. You avoid all of this if you get a direct flight to Huatulco.

Volaris is very affordable. For many of you, that will stop in Mexico City. Once you depart the plane, you will follow the line to Immigration and it could take up to one and a half hours to get through Immigration.

Once through Immigration, you will pick up your luggage and go through Customs where you may have your bags searched. Once through Customs, you will have to exit the terminal and then check back into the airport for your next flight. You will need a minimum of a two-hour layover to make sure you catch your flight to Huatulco (HUX). You will have to re-check your luggage before going through airport security.

Note #1: They never list your gate until around one hour prior to your flight. If you check in and you do not see your gate listed, do not worry, it will come up about one hour prior to your flight. Just go grab a drink or a bite to eat. Check out the stores and check the departure monitors about an hour before it’s time for you to take off.

Note #2: Immigration and Customs in Huatulco (HUX) for those taking a direct flight, is a breeze compared to Mexico City. While the flight may cost more, it will save you a lot of time and hassles.

Note #3: We have friends who live in Southern California who have crossed the border into Tijuana and took the direct Aeromexico flight to Huatulco and reported no issues.

Note#4: For those flying through Mexico City on AeroMexico, you do not need to go through Customs & Immigration in Mexico City, they will transfer your bags and you will go through Customs & Immigration at the Huatulco (HUX) airport. This is a BIG timesaver and it also saves a lot of hassle from having to get your bags in Mexico City and exit the terminal, check your luggage again, and go through airport security. If it costs a little more for an AeroMexico flight, it is worth it for this reason alone.

What to pack

Please take a minute to look at this section and you will thank us later. Zipolite is different from any resort you have ever been to, it’s a laid-back village with no fancy restaurants or bars. Don’t get us wrong, there are some amazing restaurants and bars, with amazing food and drinks, but no one ever dresses up in fancy clothes, high heels, or long pants. They just don’t. This list will help you keep it simple and pack light.

Bring these things:

Flip Flops or Sandals
Tennis Shoes
Shorts & T-Shirts: Bring a couple of funny T-Shirts or ones with Pineapples on them so others in our group will easily recognize you.
Bathing Suit: We are on a clothing-optional beach, but you might need one for excursions.
Sarongs or Wrap: You can also find some good ones on the beach.
Sundresses or Casual Dresses: Light fabric and wrinkle-free is best.
Sunglasses and a Hat: The sun is bright. And hot. Oh, and sunscreen (or just pick some up when you arrive).
Tropical shirts for men: Think Hawaiian shirts.
Sexy lingerie and underwear: This is great to wear around the hotel and even to and from our parties.
Something that Glows for our Glow Party:
An outfit for our All White Party.
A Sexy Outfit: Make sure it is light and can be worn in 80F degree temperature.
A Coverup for the Beach: Here are some examples: Amazon Seach)
A sense of adventure! This isn’t your typical Cancun or Negril holiday, it is better (in our opinion).
Your Passport: Ya gotta have one.
Your Vaccination Card or a negative covid test was taken within 72 hours of flying. Yes, this is required for the event and you must get a negative Covid test when you fly back to the US. That is a US regulation, not ours.

Do NOT Bring these things:

High Heel Shoes: I know you want to, but you will be on the beach and on sand most of your nights and they just do not work here. I promise you, give your feet a break and don’t break your ankle (I have seen it happen).
Dress Shoes for Men: There is no place we will be going that you won’t feel comfortable in flip flops. There’s just no reason to bring them.
Long Pants: Unless they are the light cotton type (which are great for white night), you just won’t need long pants. Ever.
A Coat: You won’t need one.

Note: If you stay over in Mexico City, you will need some of these items above because Mexico City is in the mountains and it can be cold there in January.

Eating Out in Zipolite

night on the street.jpg

Great food, at affordable prices

One of the things we love about Zipolite is that there are so many great choices to eat great, local food, at very affordable prices. You can get fresh fish or shrimp, which are caught right next door at Port Angel, cooked up for you every night.

Each night the downtown street (3 blocks) turns into a pedestrian walkway and the restaurants pull their tables and chairs out into the street and you can eat under the stars. There will be vendors set up to sell handmade crafts and jewelry and street performers to entertain you.

I will highlight some of the restaurants and the choices for you to try during your stay. Unlike an all-inclusive, we encourage you to try different places each night, bring friends and make it a social event.

La Providencia

Operated by a couple from Mexico City, this is THE best place to eat in Zipolite. Most of the places in Zipolite are listed as one or two dollar signs ($) on Tripadvisor, but La Providencia had 4 dollar signs and we heard it was expensive, but decided to give it a try anyway.

Tess and I had two martinis, two cocktails, two appetizers, two entrees, and dessert. Our bill came to $44. Expensive? We thought this was a bargain, especially because the food was amazing. One of the best restaurant experiences we have had in years. We encourage everyone to eat here at least once and most will go back for more.

Getting there

We were told to walk out the back of our hotel and take a left, but when we did, the road turned into a dirt road and ran into a creek bed. We went back to the hotel and they explained that this was the correct way to go and look for stones to get across the creek (it was very shallow) and head down the path into the jungle and we'd see it. Certainly an adventure.

A wonderful dinner

We found this romantic restaurant tucked into the jungle with no walls and some tables under the stars. I got the African Shrimp with chickpeas and vegetables, which was some of the best shrimp I have ever tasted. Tess got sliced pork and the sauce was so flavorful, but light and bright, not a heavy syrupy sauce. These Italians know how to cook. The menu changes often, but here is a sneak peek (note: the prices are in Pesos).

el alquimista3.jpg

El Aquimista

One of our favorite places to eat on the beach, El Aquimista is located on the north end of Zipolite Beach and just steps from our main hotels. Tip: Try their huge frozen daiquiris and margaritas, made with fresh fruit.

You can also get pizza here as well as fresh tuna, ceviche, guacamole and a variety of specialties like Mediterranean Tuna or the Asado de Tira.

Eat on the street...

One of our favorite places to eat is simply to walk into town and sit down when we smell something good. As the night falls, the restaurants come alive and the streets fill with tables full of people enjoying dining outside.

Make sure you grab a drink at The Pub, a shipping container that turns into a bar each night at 7 pm until Paul is ready to go home.

Hotel Nude

Not only is Hotel Nude a great hotel right next to our main hotel, but it is a great place for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. They have seating in their main restaurant, or you can eat right out on the beach (see above) with your toes in the sand.

We really love their steak nachos. Absolutely delicious. Their fish tacos are also popular and the salsa is great (but a little spicy). There is an ATM on the property and they take credit and debit cards.

RESTAURANT (5).jpg

Posada Buena Vida

If you want some sushi or Thai food, then head down the beach and look for the big buddha. We may even set up a night for naked sushi (see below). We love Thai food, so we always stop in here, but be warned, Thai food can be spicy, so let your server know if you can't handle spicy food.

They also have fish and chicken and other entrees besides sushi & Thai meals. There is a good variety and the ambiance is so beautiful as you eat right on the beach under a tent.

noga2.jpg

Hotel Noga

This newly built hotel has a cute little bar/restaurant nestled into the mangroves, next door to Hotel Nude. This is a great spot for a quiet and relaxing meal and perfect for drinks.

No matter where you choose to eat, there are plenty of great options that are very inexpensive and delicious. You won't find any processed food in this town, only the freshest ingredients made just for you.
