LET'S TALK ABOUT SEXY SELFIES
Hi Y’all,
I’m pretty sure that right now you’ve got some extra time on your hands—well I do too. So I’m taking a big leap and exposing myself, quite literally, and I’m doing it for y’all. I'm letting you know what I'm doing with my time and sharing my tricks for doing it. Let's make the best of it and do something sexy, while also perfecting a skill set that will hopefully never leave your repertoire. I’m not a huge “normal” simple face shot selfie taker but I do have some serious sexy selfie game, just ask my past lovers. 😏
I've been perfecting this craft for years. In the past couple of months, I've been allowing myself more liberties and authenticity. You see I use to edit every nudie photo into a well defined piece of art, making sure it was “perfect," this limited the amount of times I would actually send an image. It also made taking every photo a lengthy process. Now, I'm less particular and living in the moment with minimal filtering and what I've learned is with less editing and more taking, I've actually improved my entire sexy selfie-taking game. I know my angles, I can see a perfect image in my head and create it in minutes. I'm giving you some tips and tricks that will help elevate your selfies so that when you create your Naughty Membership profiles, you'll have an arsenal of sexy, well-photographed pics to share with your new lifestyle friends.
Let's Talk Equipment (not the dildo kind)
Number one, all you need is a smart phone and a few extra things if you want to get "fancy."
Selfie Sticks are your friend and get one with a tripod. Click here for the one I use. It's compact, light weight, you can set it up almost anywhere and comes with a remote shutter. Are you wondering what a remote shutter is? Well it's basically a tiny remote with a button that you connect through Bluetooth on your smartphone and click it to take a photo. If you aren't going to invest in a selfie stick, at a minimum I recommended a Remote Shutter, just click here.
The Environment
Like I said, I'm all about taking photos in the moment right now but if you're making it a planned event, treat yourself to your favorite drink, put on your favorite tunes and if you're really feeling it, dance around for a minute and connect to your sexy.
I have a few must do's before any photo is taken:
#1 Clear the Clutter
You don't have to clean your whole room, all you have to do is push your stuff out of frame. That's it. Make your bed, if you're not lying in it. If you're taking a bathroom selfie, please, please, please, put the lid down on the toilet seat.
#2 Natural Light
You may be in the mood to take your photos at night and if you are, that means full lights on, every light in the room. My preference, is to take my photos in the day and open the blinds (hello, neighbors 😁)
#3 Mirrors Are Your Friend
Nothing like seeing the front side and the back.
Trust me, people notice this stuff on the Naughty Membership network. The better your pics, the more people are going to want to talk to you.
How Do You Do It?
#1 Take a million photos Seriously, click that shutter remote like its morse code. Also, don’t forget that timer button. Set your phone down frame your photo, hit that timer, then pose. Then go through your photos figure out what worked and what didn't. Delete all the ones you don't like, ain't technology great. Practice makes perfect.
#2 Find Your Angles By taking a million photos, you'll learn what angles looks best for you. In general, shooting for above and looking down flatters most every one. Gentleman, you can find your angles too. Got a nice ass, lay down and pop that booty up and shoot from over your shoulder, it may feel strange but trust me, us girls do it and it works.
#3 Be In The Moment This is a progress not perfection game. What you're over analyzing, your lover is appreciating. Women, trust me, I've had conversations with my lovers and male friends, they'd rather have a photo in the moment than last year's pic.
Bonus Tip: Browse through the Naughty Membership profiles you see and observe which pictures you like and what you like about them. Use that as inspiration for your profile pics.
Tweak It & Twerk It!
(Ok, it's more about Tweaking than Twerking but I got your attention)
#1 Editing Apps
In my pursuit of more spontaneous photos, I've simply been using my iPhone filters. I've got my favorite filters, Vivid Cool & Dramatic Cool, then I tweak it, black point, vignette (in reverse), sharpen and definition are a few of my faves. Find what you like, I personally like desaturated grey photos. You may like oversaturated warm tones. Whatever it is, find your vibe. #2 Crop That Shit
Sometimes you might not have taken the best angle. So look for the photo within the photo. Is it better if you zoomed in? Lucky for you there is a crop feature in almost all photo apps, start cropping, start zooming, tilt the angles, play with it, as they say. 😘
#3 Get Close Up
Seriously, real close! I'm not going to show you some of my more private photos, but trust me I get in there and I shoot every last detail. Please, if you have those voices in your head saying "my private parts are (insert negative thought here)," I kindly ask you to remind yourself that we are all different and that is what makes us uniquely beautiful.
To end this article, I'm going to leave you with one last note. Sexy doesn't always mean naked! You can take a picture in your man shirt and send it to him. (I admit this trick mainly works for women) Maybe your partner likes you in workout clothes, send them that. Whatever it is you feel most comfortable in that is what you should be sexting.
